Dr. Joseph Kim is a clinical neuropsychologist with a special interest in assessment and treatment of adults with executive dysfunction. He serves as an Associate Psychologist at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and holds a faculty position in Neurology within the Division of Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology at Harvard Medical School. In his clinical practice, Dr. Kim dedicates his time to conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for patients experiencing memory and cognitive difficulties. Additionally, he provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Goal Management Training, aimed at equipping clients with effective strategies to address their functional challenges in daily life.
This workshop is designed to provide practical insights into diagnosing and treating adult ADHD. We will delve into the similarities and differences between diagnosing and treating ADHD in adults versus children. With a special emphasis on evidence-based therapy, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for adult ADHD, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of essential concepts and skills necessary for effective treatment strategies.
